Varadero is the most well known resort in Cuba. Varadero beaches are scenic and has pure azure water of Atlantic ocean. Varadero beaches take the third place among the most pure (clear) beaches in the world. Fantastic depths of ocean are perfect places for fishing and diving. And Ambrosio cave with rock paintings is the amazing place for the rest.

There are many european style hotels and 23 divings centers in Varadero. You may add hundreds of bars, restaurants and discos and you will understand that there is no more place for the good rest than Varadero.

Varadero is situated at a distance of 130 km from Havana. Varadero beaches are 20 km lengthwise and defended by the biggest coral reef in the Caribbean Sea.

It is easy to get to Guama and Pinar del Rio province from Varadero. There is a crocodile farm and indian settlement in Guama. Pinar del Rio is well known for its the best tobacco.

Varadero is really a miracle of nature. Its outskirts are very vivid: azure pure sea, snowy white sand and hundreds of lagoons.

Beaches are the main sights of Varadero but there are many architectural monuments there.

Fuerte Espanol – 2 storeyed fort was built in 1897. Now it is a private property.

Iglesia de Santa Elvira church is very beautiful. It was built in colonial style. In the city museum you may find ancient maps of Varadero, things of indian culture, historical artifacts.

There is dolphinarium in Varadero. It is very lovely place for kids and parents. You may swim and make photos with dolphins. El Patriarca – gigantic cactus is in local park. Cave “La Cueva de Ambrosio” is interesting for its rock pics of indians.

You may find any hotel you like: from 2 star to 5 star hotels with golf playing fields. There are many sport centres, restaurants, discos, bars, shopping malls.

Iberostar Varadero Hotel is situated in the new part of Varadero beach. It will take 55 minutes to get to the Iberostar hotel from the Varadero airport and 3 hours from international airport in Havana.
