How to get to Cuba?
The main way is by air. Cuba is connected with more than 40 cities worldwide. There are 10 international airports in Cuba, serving more than 50 airlines from 28 countries. It is possible to get to Cuba by sea via sea Sport Ports: Marina Hemingway in Havana City; harbour in Varadero; Cayo Coco and Cauo Guilermo and etc. In may, august, november and in the New Year you may get to Cuba by chartered flight.
Migratory Standards
Every visitor must have a valid passport and Cuban visa or tourist cart. There are exceptions for some countries where no visa needed for their citizens. If you wish to stay in Cuba for more than one month you have to prolong your visa in migration department.
Customs Normatives
You don’t have to pay taxes if you have: personal usage stuff, personal jewelery, photo and video cams, sport and fishing equipment, 2 bottles of alcohol, block of cigarettes and up to 10 kg of medicaments. You may import articles in cost no more than 250 CUC. You can’t import weapons and narcotics. It is recommended to declare the sum more than 5.000USD.
It is prohibited to export species of flora nad fauna which are under protection.
There some limitations for visitors from countries where yellow fever and cholera are endemic. So those visitors must approve that they are vaccinated.
Medical Care
There is a doctor in almost every hotel. But there hundreds of international hospitals everywhere in Cuba. It is recommended to have an insurance. You may buy it in Cuba too in ASISTUR company.
Transport
There taxis, autobuses, motobikes, aero-taxi, car rentals. To rent a car in Cuba you have to pay approximately 45 CUC. You may rent a car in one cuban center and leave it in another: this is good option for tourists.
Currency
Currency is Cuban Peso. Cuban peso is equal to american dollar 1:1. But american dollars are not in use! If you change american dollars to cuban peso you will pay 10% of comission. You may convert USD, EURO, GBP, FRF to CUC in special currency exchange spots CADECA. You may pay by credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Cabal, Transcard) but credit cards which were issued by american banks will not be accepted.
Clothes
Take cotton made cloth and in winter – woollen cloth.
Shopping
There are many duty free shops in cuban airports, hotels and villas where you can buy cuban cigars, rum, souvenirs.

Voltage – 110 volts and 60Hz. Flat stamp cutoff points.
