Ecotourism in Cuba
Ecotourism is very popular in Cuba. Geographical location of Cuba in south of Golfstream, plenty of rains and fruitful lands served poets and artist as inspiration.
Cuba is not only a place with white sand and coconut trees it is also very important natural place in Caribbean sea. There are 236 places guarded by government (it is 22% of all territory of Cuba), e.g. Vinialles Valley. Places which are declared to be a world biosphere reserves: Guancaabibes peninsula, Sierra del Rosario, Zapata bog, Buena Vista, Bakanao Park, Cushilias del Toa, Alexandro de Umwoldt Park.
In Cuba you may find such kinds of plants which are not expanded in other islands. Cuba was and is a universal bridge for birds migrating from one continent to another. So there are thousands of unique species of birds in Cuba.
Cuba manages a programme to open different ecological places for tourists to enjoy all the amazing beauty of Cuban nature. The strategy of exploiting those untouched places is to prevent any man hand harm for the environment.
